# pv.TestDevelopmentInstall - Out of memory in fedora33\_static\_mpi\_offscreen\_osmesa\_python config?

We are seeing errors like this:

```auto
FAILED: Catalyst/CxxParticlePathExample/CxxParticlePathExample 
: && /usr/bin/c++ -O3 -DNDEBUG -Wl,-rpath -Wl,/usr/lib64/mpich/lib -Wl,--enable-new-dtags .... /builds/gitlab-kitware-sciviz-ci/build/test-install/usr/local/lib64/libvtkloguru-pv5.9.a -ldl -pthread && :
collect2: fatal error: ld terminated with signal 9 [Killed]

```

Seems we might be running out of memory when linking the examples.

I truncated the output severely to fit within Discourse’s limits. But it appears the examples might be overlinking.
