I installed wsl from windows10 on 2 computers and ubuntu 20.04.6 and installed precompiled openfoam10 and paraview openfoam 5.10 from [openfoam.org](http://openfoam.org) .
After running openfoam, I wrote python script using trace in paraview and ran pvbatch. I did the same thing on two computers.
The pvbatch command is executed well in one unit, but the other unit keeps getting the following error.
If you run paraview and run it in the python shell, the execution works well. I tried to solve it in many ways, but I keep getting the same message.

( 2.627s) [pvbatch]vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow.:266 ERR| vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow (0x7fffee918590): Could not find a decent config
( 2.628s) [pvbatch]vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow.:484 ERR| vtkXOpenGLRenderWindow (0x7fffee918590): Could not find a decent visual
Loguru caught a signal: SIGABRT
Stack trace:
…
If anyone has experienced this problem and solved it, please reply.

I beg you.

You need a Xorg server to run standard ParaView, if you do not have one, use EGL release from [paraview.org/download](http://paraview.org/download) instead.

Thank you your reply.
I tried to use Xorg, but it is not running on ubuntu 20.04. I tried many ways, but I failed.
I can’t figure out how to download and use EGL, so I can’t fix the problem.
paraview uses the automatically installed paraview openfoam510 while installing openfoam 10.
I’m sorry I couldn’t do it properly when you helped me.

- Download [https://www.paraview.org/paraview-downloads/download.php?submit=Download&version=v5.11&type=binary&os=Linux&downloadFile=ParaView-5.11.1-egl-MPI-Linux-Python3.9-x86\_64.tar.gz](https://www.paraview.org/paraview-downloads/download.php?submit=Download&version=v5.11&type=binary&os=Linux&downloadFile=ParaView-5.11.1-egl-MPI-Linux-Python3.9-x86_64.tar.gz)
- Extract it somwhere
- use `pvbatch` that is inside
