Hello,

I am new to using ParaView and just have a couple of questions about it. I wanted to know if the software supports any method of reducing the number of samples of an uploaded point cloud. I also was wondering if it supports any method of volume meshing.

Thank you

Decimate filter should do the trick

Delaunay3D should do the trick. Keep in mind that it have some limitations.

Because you are starting with a point cloud, you might also try using `Mask Points`. It gives lots of extra options that are not available to more generic filters like `Decimate`. Turn on the advanced options to see the lots of different ways to, for example, randomly sample the points.
