Hi,

I have data provided by discrete element method that are vtp files. I eventually would like to represent the contact network between the grains using the Tube Filter.

Here is an example in the literature

Each tube needs to represent the contact force between two grains. What data do I need as input and what steps are needed to get to the point where I can use the Tube Filter? I suppose I need to start with a csv file with particle location and contact forces (in 3D) between pairs? Then create some mesh to which I apply the filter? I am not sure about the specifics and would appreciate your suggestion 🙂 .

Thanks for the help!

Hello, can you please post the solution of how to model the force network?
