# Scipy for pvpython in windows

Dear support,

I would like to use the library Scipy which is not available in paraview for windows. Would it be possible to install it?

**Yes** , it is possible to use scipy in ParaView/pvpython. You should read the excellent blog post written by @cory.quammen and @jourdain [https://www.kitware.com/using-python-virtual-environments-in-paraview-5-13-0/](https://www.kitware.com/using-python-virtual-environments-in-paraview-5-13-0/)

Alternatively you can use this tips to install any pip package for ParaView binary release:
