# Showing only bottom axes grid around my contour plot

Hi  
I have a contour plot and i have turned on axes grid around my contour. But it is showing the axes on both top and bottom. Can i only show the bottom axes and the ticks on it?

Chart views have an advanced property named **Show Top Axis Grid** that you can uncheck. That should remove the top axis. You may have to click the gear icon towards the top right of the Properties panel to see it.

Hey I am using axes grid but I cannot see anythin called Chart views or Show Top axis grid. Am i missing anything? I have turned on the gear. Can you please let me know, thanks

Sorry, it wasn’t clear to me what you were asking about. Now I understand you have the **Axes Grid** option checked in the Properties panel. I guess by top you mean the maximum z-axis. I’m afraid it is not possible to disable only the axes along the maximum or minimum of the x, y, or z axes.
