# Simple: How can I see a more precise range of data?

Hello I am new to ParaView.
I am validating expected temperature rise data in a cube. I expect to see a .25 mK rise in temperature everywhere (ideally).
I am viewing temperature and the color bar only 273, not 273.xxxxx or whatever I may display on ParaView.

You can change the format of the scalar bar labels. Please see [2. Color maps and transfer functions — ParaView Documentation 5.8.1 documentation](https://docs.paraview.org/en/latest/ReferenceManual/colorMapping.html?highlight=legend#color-legend-parameters) for details, specifically the **Automatic Label Format** (turn it off) and edit the **Label Format** setting.
