# Update paraview trace file from older version.

Hello I am trying to use pvpython 5.7.0 on a trace file and I think the trace file was made by an older version of paraview. It keeps giving me errors throwing fits about lines like

```
 spreadSheetView1.BlockSize = 1024L

```

for the 1024L

```
 spreadSheetView1.SelectedComponent
 layout1.AssignView(2, spreadSheetView1)

```

claiming these don’t exist

and these were obsolete

```
pararesults0Display.FieldAssociation
layout1.SetSplitFraction(0, 0.528409090909) 

```

is there anyway to easily update the trace file for the new version?
