# Volume rendering on log scale switches to grayscale map

PV 6.1 RC1 inadvertently switches the colormap to grayscale (x-ray) when enabling logarithmic scaling. I use the attached example, switch to volume rendering, set the data limits to 0.2–5, then toggle between linear and logarithmic mapping. The result is shown in the two screen shots…

The old ones still awaits resolution, but now we have a reproducer!
