# VR Instructions for Vive Pro 2 headset.

Hello, I am new to VR but not to Paraview. I have been following the webinar (on YouTube) available at this link [[Immersive ParaView: AR/VR/XR Exploration with ParaView: A free Kitware webinar](https://discourse.paraview.org/t/immersive-paraview-ar-vr-xr-exploration-with-paraview-a-free-kitware-webinar/13651)]. I am able to create the data (Wavelet and the filter), but I fail to render the screen on my HTC Vive Pro 2. I have installed Steam, SteamVR, VIVEPORT, VIVE Console for SteamVR, and VIVE Console. So far, the computer can recognize the Headset and show the"data transmission," But I can not see anything (but the white screen)… Does anybody run into a similar issue here? Thanks.-

I do not think Vive Pro 2 was tested. Are you able to see steamvr home ? What happens if you use openvr mode instead of openxr ?

Hi Mathieu, thanks for your response. I have tried `openvr` and I see the same content. Since I can still return the headset and get the refund, what setting are you currently using? I might get the same hardware as yours…

- HTC Vive
- Valve Index
- Meta Quest 2

Hello,
I would like to know if meta quest 3 works well or are there any know issues?
Also, any VR headset recommentations for Linux Ubuntu (meta quest 3 or pico 4 ultra)?

meta quest 3 should works, if it’s not the case, please let us know so that we can update the doc [VTK::RenderingOpenXR - VTK documentation](https://docs.vtk.org/en/latest/modules/vtk-modules/Rendering/OpenXR/README.html#supported-devices)
