Hi,

I recently had Paraview up and running on my computer, but now it seems that it won’t even open anymore! My laptop is less than a year old, so I suspect it isn’t that, but I’ve tried uninstalling and re-downloading multiple times to no avail! I’m running on Windows 11, and get a blank screen with an output message box. Please help!

Thanks

Try removing your config files: [https://www.paraview.org/Wiki/ParaView\_Settings\_Files](https://www.paraview.org/Wiki/ParaView_Settings_Files)

Ideally, keep a copy somewhere and share them here.

- Open your file explorer
- Put this as the adress: `%APPDATA%\ParaView`
- Delete all files there
- run ParaView again.

Hi,

I’m sorry, I appreciate the help but I really don’t understand what that’s trying to show. I haven’t got the foggiest when it comes to computers.

Thanks,
