# Xdmf3 reader - FiniteElementFunction

Dear all,

I’d like to use the Xdmf3 reader with attributes defined at the nodes, the cells and with FiniteElementFunction (Raviart Thomas)[test.xdmf](https://discourse.paraview.org/uploads/short-url/gRBms6INUgmKmIGmDsmIxoh4cdr.xdmf) (2.6 KB) .

It seems there is a bug in this case. Each one independently works fine, but when I use all three together it fails (Paraview 5.6 and 5.7): the reader complains about an invalid number of nodes. The file is attached

One mode quick question : using Xdmf2 (without the FiniteElementFunction) when I read the attached file I get 2 blocks, but I cannot get the same thing with Xdmf3 (I tried to put the two grids inside a tree or spatial collection but neither work).
