# xming and paraview

Hello,  
when I type paraview on ubuntu, paraview do not open and I have the following message ‘’‘paraview and xming are not connected.’’’  
Could you give me your advice,please?  
I appreciate your kind help.

Are you using Windows somewhere here ?

If you are using “Ubuntu” with WSL on windows to run ParaView.  
**Do not do that and use our Windows version.**
