Since it has been several days from your last reply and all others were very quick, I assume the issue is significant. Do you think that there is hope for the issue to be resolved?

Unable to reproduce with ParaView 5.12.0-RC2, python state file is correctly created.

Thank you for looking at it. Yes it worked with version 5.12.0-RC2. I did examine the trace approach too, it failed but with the state file approach, that is not critical.
