Hi, somewhat newbie here. I’m studying jet plume expansion DSMC simulations, but I’m encountering an issue while trying to analyze a set of .vtp files. I have previously analyzed a few datasets comprised of .vtu files, in which the data forms a volume that can have the Plot Over Line, Temporal Statistics, etc. filters applied. However, when trying to do the same with the set of .vtp files, the data is no longer a volume but rather a large amount of singular points within the volume. Due to this, the previously mentioned filters do not work as intended (plot over line shows nothing, etc.). I’ve attempted to solve this using Resample to Image (no output result), Delaunay 3D (not a great estimation of the true simulation), Resample with Dataset (same as previous), etc. I was hoping someone could have some insight on if this is fixable or if I would need to dump vtu files from my simulation software instead of vtp. I can provide more info if needed. Thanks!
Use GaussianRessampling to ressample points into a volumic image data.
