Bug in edit box digits?

When selecting and edit box to enter numeric values (say the x location of a slice), the default number having few digits is expanded to 19 digits.

Paraview release is 5.6.0 6a bit running on Centos within a Turbo VNC remote desktop.

That’s not a bug. The number does indeed have those many digits, it just shows a simpler view to avoid cluttering the UI.

I see what you are saying but in the version I’m using the box actually shows suddenly all the digits by the time I click on it so I’m forced every time to cancel them all and write just the digits I want.

PS: something that didn’t happen in the version prior.
