I am new both to Paraview and LS-Dyna, so I apologize if this is a stupid question. I can open my d3plot files in Paraview without problems and visualize some quantities such as Stress. But I can’t see strains. On the other hand, in LS-PrePost I can see all the strains and even principal strains. What would be a good way of gaining full access to the full d3plot file in Paraview?
Export your model file from LS-DYNA into a format that Paraview can load (e.g. Nastran BDF) and then the simplest way to handle the result sets would be to export them into CSV files.
