It is impossible to upload and share a non image file in a topic.
This is a big issue in my opinion.

I have enabled upload of any file type. There may be security implications to doing this, though I haven’t found any discussions about what kinds of files we should prevent from being uploaded.
Great, thanks. regarding security issue, I could have renamed any kind of executable file and uploaded it as a png anyway, so it does not change much imho.
True, though I would be more concerned about the web server executing, say, a Ruby (.rb) file someone uploads that executes some malicious code on the server side. Thoughts, @Jake_Stookey?
