I have my own webgl shader for volume rendering fe results displacement and stresses plus warp and clip plane.
However I’d like to use ParaView bc of the ecosystem. However whenever I try to warp or clip a volume rendered plot with or without nvidia index ParaView hangs and or crashes.
Clipping with volume rendering is pretty simple so I’m surprised that it brings the entire system down
Warping is a bit more difficult but doable if you alter the ray position based on the displacements.
Does anyone have any tips on how to do interactive fe post processing with ParaView without having the program crash?
I’m using the latest version of Pv on windows 11 w an rtx5000 card
