I am exploring the possibility of creating iso-wall-distance surfaces for postprocessing. Unfortunately the cell-wall distance isn’t available in my dataset and I was wondering if it could be computed in paraview. I guess that it could be “easily” computed in a programable filter where for each cell, the distances to all the walls cells are computed and the minimum one is kept. However I imagine that working on it in serial would take ages for a large dataset. Is there any filter or pluging which permits to obtain it working in parallel? It would be extremely useful!
