I hace recently discovered paraview as a tool to handle huge CSV files. My work is to get the results from CFD Engineers and transfer them to 3DsMax to do nice renders. I now have a fluid in a pipe with information about the fraction of gas that I want to import to 3ds Max. I want to make a surface mesh of a pointcloud from a CSV-file and color it with the fraction-info. I have tried to use 3D Delaunay but that crashes my computer. Any tips on how to solve this would be very helpful. Thanks!
Am i right to assume that the point are not on the surface bot on the whole volume of the pipe ?

Indeed, you’d need first to extract by convex part, which I think should be doable by selecting each straight part of the pipe.

Yes, you’re right. They’re in the whole volume. I don’t yet know what select by convex part means but I’ll google
