I successfully made some very nice .ogv animations several years ago. Paraview has changed a lot over the years and I forgot the steps involved, I am using 5.4.0 but I could use a newer version if necessary.
I have time step data.
solf_2D.005000.pvtu
solf_2D.006000.pvtu
solf_2D.007000.pvtu
solf_2D.008000.pvtu
solf_2D.009000.pvtu
solf_2D.010000.pvtu
solf_2D.011000.pvtu
solf_2D.012000.pvtu
solf_2D.013000.pvtu
solf_2D.014000.pvtu
Could someone point me in the good direction? Should I put all the .pvtu data in a separate file?
Thanks for your help.
Hi @swornom ,
Just opening the solf_2D… file in ParaView and saving an animation should work.
Thanks, quite simple. The problem is that I get this error (nothing to do with the ParaView files):
main decoder error: buffer deadlock prevented
which I do not know how to solve. If you know of a solution, please let me know.
I use this Linux
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS
Release: 18.04
