Do you want to hide the series or just hide it from the legend? Either case, the Series Parameters if where you do it. Uncheck a series to remove it. Set the Legend Name to empty for a particular series to hide it.
This is not exposed in ParaView. You can hide the entire legend, but not just the frame. To hide the legend entirely, uncheck Show Legend from the Properties panel.
For cases where there are lots of overlapping series, reducing opacity may help make the viz appear cleaner. Of course, there’s no requirement that you should ever change the opacity, unless you wanted to.
