i have been testing different parameters of refinement and smoothing on my data, and saving a screenshot to the disk. For the most refined cases, i got a strange behavior, the saved image was completly empty without any error of paraview at all (and the process was not killed by not enought of ram.)
I found strange, but as always with scripting one can miss something somewhere, therefore i run it on paraview gui. the script again, run without any issue at all. but the data eventhought it was being ‘shown’ with the eye open on the pipe line, and that the script used resert camera it was not being shown. while investigating this, i notice that if I rotate the camera of the renderviewer the data is actually displayed but it disapear when the camara stops of rotating.
