default settings for openfoam reader and for legends

i would like to read openfoam cases as ‘decomposed’ by default.

i would like to setup legend font as times by default.

for these two examples what is the best way to configure them? the ‘edit > settings’ view does not have such an option.

i tried it when reading an openfoam case, changed from reconstructed to decomposed, the ‘save’ button was greyed out. i clicked apply to load the case. then i clicked save. closed paraview. opened paraview. loaded the case again. it again had that ‘reconstructed’ option in settings, so, actually, it did not save…

does that work for you? you don’t need an actual openfoam case for this, just an empty file with .foam extension would do for testing.

Yes, it works perfectly for me using ParaView 6.0.1 binary release on Linux.

You can check your config files for that.
