I have the coordinates of a paraboloid stored in a .xyz file. I am able to view it in Paraview. I use the extract edges filter to get the structured grid for the paraboloid. Is it possible to store this structured grid of the paraboloid in a format compatible for ANSYS (mesh file)? Also, is there a way to create a solid using this .xyz file which can be imported in ANSYS format (iges file)? I have tried the Delauney 3D filter, however it loses the actual shape of the geometry. I would appreciate any feedback.
Afaik there is not ANSYS writer in ParaView.
That being said, I’m not sure to follow what your are trying to achieve.
Can you share your data and what you are trying to do in more details.
