I am new to ParaView, so please bare with my lack of familiarity and skills. I have a 3D model which I would like to extract some data from. The radius of the model is 2.044m, So I was wondering from this whether I could work out the surface area of certain parts of the object and extract them. Or alternatively, since the object is a sphere, I could extract the latitude and longitude of the parts of the sphere I am interested in? Essentially the 3D object is a model of the Ajisai satellite and I want to get the areas/coordinates of each of the mirrors on the surface of it. But I haven’t had much luck in doing so.
