GitLab has for a while supported different kinds of reports: “Issues”, “Tasks”, and “Incidents”. GitLab interface continued to refer to these collectively as “Issues”. If you wanted to file a bug you would file it under “Issues” in the GitLab interface and create a “New Issue”.
In the newest update to gitlab.kitware.com, GitLab now refers to these reports as “Work Items”. So if you are looking for “Issues”, look for “Work Items” in the UI. To report a bug, you can create a “New Item” in the “Work Items” page - by default its Type will be “Issue” as before. Hence, reporting bugs will work pretty much the same as before, just the naming will be different.
URLs for issues have changed as well, so if you have https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/-/issues in any bookmarks, change the issues to work_items. Fortunately, links with issues will continue to work and will be forwarded to a URL with work_items.
