Gradient background not working?

Hi, I have ParaView 5.9.1 and tried to set a background gradient, but the second colour does not seem to be detected (ParaView only renders this is black):

Is this a known bug? Is there a work around?

I think you ran into this bug, which will be fixed in 5.10: https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/-/issues/15757

As a workaround, you can change the Background property in the Properties panel under the View section.
