High quality images for publication

Hey,

I save my screenshots with .tif format but the quality is very low. I am interested to know how to get the quality images for publication from Paraview?

Or do I need to use Adobe illustrator for that purpose? Would that reduce the key information from the pictures?

Thanks a lot

I always save screenshots as .png’s. These are compressed, but you lose no resolution. Also, if you want better quality, save as higher resolution. You can go larger than your viewport. This is frequently done when making images or movies for powerwalls. Last, you can always do a screen capture, and write that down with any resolution you want.

Alternatively, as you state, try File/ Export Scene. Then, read this into a post processing application.
