Discourse can add a link preview for URLs that appear on separate lines in posts, such as the following:
To disable the preview and show just the link, simply add a space in front of the URL in the Discourse editor:
https://blog.kitware.com/paraview
The leading space will be dropped in the display of the post, as will the link preview block.
