How to extract hex element IDs within a clip

Hello,
I have two questions regarding extracting element IDs from loaded .exodus mesh files in Paraview. First, is it possible to get a list of all element IDs within a mesh block? Second, if I clip my mesh such that only a fraction of elements are visible, is it possible to get a list of all visible element IDs? These IDs should correspond to the element IDs contained in the .exodus file.

Hi @AFalk ,

What do you mean by “get a list of element” ?
If you mean selection, the selection tools on top of the view are at your disposal, as well as the find data window in tools → FindData.
