How to load e57 files in LidarView

I’m trying to load an e57 file in LidarView and I can’t figure out which reader to use. I’ve tried a couple of them, like the default AVS UCD Reader: I don’t get any errors but I can’t see anything loaded.

This should be readable by the pdal reader but a quick try with ParaView doesnt seem to work, please open an issue (in ParaView).

Hi @rowan , if you have a local build you should enable Xerces in the build. When I do, BunnyDouble.e57 file from E57 Data Examples loads correctly with the PDAL reader.
We should probably consider include this in the binaries

I’ve got a build compiled with both PDAL and xerces superbuild options and now I’m getting these errors when I try to load my e57 file:
