How to select and extract data along an elliptical line

From a user:

I’m trying to extract data from a volume that is on an elliptical line. I only see the linear line extraction option. Is there a way to do this?

Use the Resample with Dataset filter. Set the Input to the volume and the Source to the elliptical line.
