"How to Update TTK from Version 1.2 to 1.3 in ParaView?

Hello,

Before, I was using TTK version 1.2 and an older version of ParaView. Now, there are new versions, so I wanted to update my system. But, the steps in this link did not work well for the new versions: TTK - the Topology ToolKit - Topological Data Analysis and Visualization

So, I installed TTK and ParaView with the .msi files and added the needed information to the PATH.

When I try to load the plugin in ParaView 5.13.1, I get the errors shown in the SS. I looked through all the folders in the TTK directory, but I could not find a proper file for the plugin.

Can you help me understand what steps I should follow? Thank you!

I am not sure which TTK 1.3 plugin you are talking about. Where did you get it ?

If you want to have TTK 1.3 in ParaView, unfortunately you need to compile both ParaView and TTK.

Additionally, I plan to update TTK in the ParaView binary release in the forthcoming weeks, so another solution may be simply to … wait, then download the corresponding ParaView nightly once ready.

After installing ParaView (v5.13.1) and TTK(v1.3), I tried to update TTK on Paraview with TopologyToolKit.dll in the “C:\Program Files\TTK\bin\plugins\TopologyToolKit”.

But now I understand that it is not right way to update TTK on ParaView.
It’s not an urgent update for me, so I’ll continue with v1.2.
