How to view different tensor components independently in views?

I’d like to be able to view different vector components across views with a linked camera. When I select a component in one view, it gets changed on all other views at the same time. This is very surprising as the choice of an array to view is independent across views.

Just as an example I’d like to view an x component of velocity in the left view and the y component in the right view.

What is a standard way to do it in ParaView?

Hi,

By default, ParaView uses the same colormap configuration for a given array name. It is including the component option.

So you should use the “Use separate colormap” option.
