Would it make sense to reference known build issues on the wiki page ParaView:Build_And_Install ?
In addition of the existing “Frequently Asked Question”, I suggest to add a “Common Errors” section. For example, see Slicer wiki page .
The entry on the wiki page could be as simple as the error message with a link to discourse post, issue, …

I think it is fine to add this section to the wiki.
Note that there are building instructions in the repository itself:
https://gitlab.kitware.com/paraview/paraview/blob/master/Documentation/dev/build.md
We should aim to move things from the wiki to Markdown files in the repository, especially for anything that is relevant to a particular release such as build instructions. This will take a while to achieve, but it is what we should be aiming for.
