Increasing mesh size of a .stl file

Hi,

I have a .stl file of a model with 1920 triangles (meshes). I want to increase it to more than 5000 meshes. Can someone please tell me how can I increase the number of meshes of my model. Thank you

The Subdivide and Loop Subdivision filters should do that.
