Installed multiple versions, all say same DLLs are missing.

5.12.1, 5.13.2, 5.13.3
Reinstall / install of different versions does not fix it.
MFPlat.dll is not found
MFReadwrite.dll is not found

Installed the Windows Media Pack and still get the same errors after a repair of 5.12.1. 5.12.1 is working on other machines.

It looks like you are missing the Windows Media Foundation DLLs. What version of Windows are you running on this system?

Did you install the Windows Media Feature Pack?

Yes, the Windows Media Feature Pack. Is there anything in addition to that we’d need? This was a new machine built from scratch; we have many others on an existing image (VDIs) that do not have this issue so they have whatever features are missing on this one.

I had not noticed before this, but it is Win 10 N. OS is 22H2 19045.2728

Interesting. I had not heard of Windows 10 N versions before today.

Do the installation instructions to fix this located here solve the problem?

The only info I found earlier only had part of that. I’ll give this a try.

Manually installing Media Player in addition to the other steps seems to have added the missing DLLs and it worked. Thanks!
