Hello, I am a new user of ParaView and plan to use it to analyze geospatial datasets. I downloaded the most recent version of ParaView, and from what I understand since the release of v5.9.0 the software can handle geospatial files with GDAL (I already have GDAL installed too). Is this correct? So I do not have to install from source with GDAL enabled?
Another issue is that I managed to upload the GeoTIFF of my masked Digital Elevation Model, and got as far as converting cell to point data, then integrate to get a volume. However, the value I got is too low than what I’m expecting. I’m not sure whether I am integrating the right variables i.e. the elevation. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

ParaView 5.13 binary includes raster and vector readers using GDAL 3.7.1. So you don’t need GDAL installed.

Can you include your data and better explain what you are doing?
