Issue with 2D Glyph Orientation on YZ/XZ Planes (Arrowheads disappearing)

I am experiencing an issue with the 2D Glyph filter on a YZ slice (X-normal). While 2D glyphs work perfectly on the XY plane, they do not appear correctly on other planes. The 2D arrows appear like flat lines and the arrowheads disappear. It seems the 2D glyph template is fixed to the XY plane and doesn’t rotate its “flatness” to match the slice plane.

How can I force the 2D Glyph source to stay parallel to a YZ or XZ plane so that arrowheads are visible in all directions?

In the image, the arrowheads are appearing in the vertical (Z) direction. If I rotate the glyphs by 90 degrees, the arrowheads appear in the horizontal (Y) direction but disappear in the vertical direction.

Please share data and steps to reproduce.

I can share the steps, but the data file is too big to be shared. The steps are:

  1. Taking 2D-slice.

  2. Clip filter to further adjust the 2D-slice.

  3. Calculator filter to obtain the velocity vectors on YZ plane: Vyz = Y-Velocity*jHat+Z-Velocity*kHat

  4. Temporal statistics filter to obtain time-averaged velocities.

  5. Resample to image filter to adjust resolution.

  6. Glyph filter for the vectors.
