Original Mesh Grid Showing Through in Render

Hi all,

I am trying to visualize Ansys Fluent data and it is working well for the most part.

One small problem I am having is it looks like features from the original mesh are showing through in the render. It was meshed in Fluent’s watertight meshing. Below is an image of the mesh and the render in Paraview. Most prominent are the hexagonal mesh features.

I tried a few things like changing the lighting and making sure it was point data, but that did not seem to work.

Any ideas to fix this?

I was able to fix it for the most part by extracting surface and then generating surface normals.
