It works exactly the same way as any animation in ParaView (Save Animation menu).
Be sure to have the plugin loaded and the panoramic view active and use a 2:1 resolution when you use the equirectangular projection (for instance 4000x2000).
You will have a bunch of png files that you can merge using a tool like ffmpeg.
Then, the video can be played using the video player of the HTC Vive for example.
