Parallel rendering - Opening large raw file

Hello There,
I am working on a cluste environment using parallel rendering.
I am trying to open the follow dataset using 8 cores and 8 gpus and 360GB on ram

http://fsm.sci.utah.edu:8000/open-scivis-datasets/isotropic_pressure/isotropic_pressure_4096x4096x4096_float32.raw

However, the process gets stall and never ends.
I wonder if someone here can give me some hints on what could I do in these cases?

Hello Kmilo,

If it still makes sense, could you please provide more details about your issue. You wrote you was working on a cluster environment. Did you run pveservers on different nodes of the cluster and have a connection to them? Or was it one node with 8 GPUs? I have some experience with visualizing large unstructured grids in PV on multiGPU node.
