Paraview 5.10 won't run on Mac

I downloaded the new Paraview 5.10 release candidate (
ParaView-5.10.0-RC1-MPI-OSX11.0-Python3.9-arm64.pkg) on my Mac. Installation was successful but I get this error message when I try to open it:

You can’t open the application “ParaView-5.10.0-RC1.app” because this application is not supported on this Mac.

You downloaded the *arm64.pkg for ARM64 processors. Because you have an Intel mac, you need to instead download the *x86_64.pkg.
