The installation of Paraview 5.11.1 on Windows 10 ended up with the message ‘The specified account already exists’. I do not know what doesit mean, I never saw this message before, and I already installed a lot of Paraview versions. The installation file I used was ‘ParaView-5.11.1-Windows-Python3.9-msvc2017-AMD64.msi’. Could you give me an advice?

That seems very odd. AFAIK, we do no account manipulations. Is there an error code of some kind along with it?

There did not appear any code or explanations.
I think the issue is that we don’t change ProductCodes, so all .msi installers “conflict” with each other and at most one can exist at a time.
So, what can I do?
Use the .zip packages instead. You can extract them anywhere (but things like the Start Menu entries are manual).
Thank you for that advice. Now I did it, and it is working. Also I installed ParaView 5.11.0 using the *.msi file. The installation did not cause any problems.
