Paraview 5.7 crash on connection configuration menu

Hi,

I’m experiencing a GUI crash when trying to open the command connection configuration window. I reproduce it and save it as a gif.

this is the log:

Can you reproduce it on your side?

I built it using paraview superbuild and linked it with my system’s qt 5.10.1 installation.

As a work around, you can define your server command in the .pvsc file in your settings.

In the case a fix is release it soon, can it be as a patch for 5.7? or Do I have to go up to 5.8 or whatever is in the master branch ?

If fixed, it will only be available in ParaView 5.8.1 or ParaView 5.9.
