Paraview v5.9.0 crashes on Microsoft Server 2012 R2 operating system

Hi,

I installed Paraview v5.9.0 using “ParaView-5.9.0-Windows-Python3.8-msvc2017-64bit.exe” on Microsoft Server 2012 R2 operating system. After successful installation, I tried to launch Paraview but it crashes immediately with no error message.

So can you please suggest what can be the issue here and how to resolve this issue?
Also does Paraview work on Microsoft Server 2012 R2 operating system?

I’m afraid this is not tested in our CI, but @ben.boeckel may know more.
