Plotting averaged passive scalar (averaged over x) from a 2D domain (x, y) over length (y).

Hi, I am new to Paraview!
I have a 2D Domain (x, y). It has velocity, pressure, and two passive scalars. I wish to plot the averaged passive scalar ( averaged in x) over the y direction.

Somehow Paraview lacks an averaging filter. The only way at the moment is to do it yourself with the programmable filter.

This filter exists and is called “Descriptive Statistics”. Not the best name, I agree.

But this filter just gives you the overall averaged values and not a spacial averaged value like it was asked for, or is there any other way to make this work?

Indeed, the specific computation asked by @bibhas does not exist as a filter currently.
