Problem installing paraview 5.6.1

Hi there. I have downloaded paraview-5.6.1 from this website and I install it using the guide in the link https://sztr.wordpress.com/2017/01/28/how-to-install-paraview-5-2-on-ubuntu-16-04/. I have done all the steps, but when I input paraview in the terminal, I got Segmentation fault (core dumped). For your information, I am using ubuntu 18.04LTS. The reason I download paraview-5.6.1 is to use NVIDIA IndeX which it is not bundled in paraview-5.6. May I know where can I get the installation guide to install?

The ubuntu provided package does not contain NVIDIA index.
Please follow the following steps :

• Download ParaView 5.7.0 : https://www.paraview.org/paraview-downloads/download.php?submit=Download&version=v5.7&type=binary&os=Linux&downloadFile=ParaView-5.7.0-MPI-Linux-Python3.7-64bit.tar.gz
• Extract it somewhere
• run ./bin/paraview
• Tools->Manage Plugin -> pNvidiaIndex -> Load
• Create new view
• Source -> Wavelet
• Representation -> NVIDIA Index
